The 50th Annual Grammys took place last night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles with the big winners being Miss Amy Winehouse (including Record of the Year) with five gongs and Kanye West with four. Herbie Hancock was the surprise winner of Best Album for River: The Joni Letters.
