Who are you and where are you from?

We’re Alright the Captain, we’re based in the East Midlands in England

Who are your favourite artists from home?

JC Decaux, Cheap Jazz, Merricks Tusk, Dystopian Future Movies and Mammothwing are all awesome.

Whats it really like touring?

It’s awesome, sure there are the lows but the whole experience is great and it’s a good way to see new places and make noise while you’re there.

Whats your favourite city/town/venue to play?

Bristol and Glasgow are both great cities and as for venues JT Soar

Whats your ideal festival line-up?

Giraffes? Giraffes! Primus, Radiohead, ASIWYFA, Chiyoda Ku,

What has been your biggest achievement of the year?

Releasing our latest album Contact Fix was a big one, we’re dead happy with it!

What has been the worst moment of the year?

Going back to work after each and every tour.

What was the worst piece of advice you were given?

I don’t take advice from anyone which often ends in disaster.

What do you do to relax?

Have a blip.

What are you reading?  

A lot of reddit.

Game of thrones ftw.

I won’t even go there, let’s just say i was pissed off!

What should we expect from your Irish shows?

Riffs,  riffs and more riffs! We’re bringing A werewolf and Steve Strong along with us, you’re gonna love them if you like more mind bending music!
