Special: ASIWYFA announce Olympia show; win tickets

Of all the dates in our diary for 2015, May 1st has one of the biggest rings around it – seeing as it does the release of the new Heirs album from And So I Watch You From Afar. Now we can add June 19th to the list, when the band will play a headline show at the Olympia Theatre – one of only two Irish gigs this year. That this will be a gig not to be missed under any circumstances is clear, so get yourself a ticket priced €22 / €23 now. Or even better, win a pair right here. To enter just tell us why you deserve to win (lack of funds excepted) and post your plea below by 5pm on Monday.

I’ve stalked the band on many an occasion, in Belfast, Glasgowbury and most importantly one year at pukkelpop, when afterwards I sent them an email after I spotted Rory hovering outside a tent which included the creepy line ‘while I was watching you from afar’….I’m DYING to see the show in Dublin…

I’m a massive fan of the band, which I (regrettably) only discovered two years ago. All Hail Bright Futures is an incredible album, and one of my favourites from 2013. My friend, however, is an even bigger fan of band, and has pestered me to check them out since 2011. While I enjoy their early music, I think All Hail Bright Futures is a near-masterpiece, and I’m hyped that Heirs is going to be an amazing follow-up.

Oh, and they have the coolest band name in existence.

    Actually, they’re a Coleraine band 😉

I think I’m too late. But I once crashed my ma’s car airdrumming to BeautifulUniverseMasterChampion.
