The seaside festival, Beatyard is getting ready for its third year of fun, frolics and funky music. It has fast become one of the anticipated weekends of music that throws you back to the familiar sounds of the 1980s and 1990s. With only a few months to go, French duo Air and producer/DJ extraordinaire Mark Ronson have been announced as the headlining acts of Beatyard 2017, which will take place in Dun Laoghaire. The festival is on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th of August and features one of its strongest line ups yet. Candi Staton, Bananarama,Rusangano Family, Katie Kim and many more amazing acts will take to the stages over the two days.
As always, there are several varied elements to Beatyard including a mouth watering selection of food to sample at Eatyard, retro gaming at the infamous Gamesyard, inspiring chat, debate and anything in-between with Jim Carroll at the Banteryard and this year Don Conroy will be a very special guest with whom you can draw a variety of nautical animals and birds. Ahoy, mateys!
