Mix: Top Story: Dubstep April Mix – Dubh Thrian

Following on from Eomac’s blazing mix for State last month we have another guest mix from one of Ireland’s up and coming electronic producers. Operating out of the depths of Leitrim, Dubh Thrian (real name Keith Bredin) has been crafting dark atmospheric tunes in the vein of Burial and Boards of Canada. For this mix Dubh Thrian blends recent dubstep classics Joy Orbison’ s ‘So Derobe’ and ‘Rut’ by Joe with some classic UK garage along with pleasant surprises with a Radiohead appearance and Keith throws down some of his own productions. After you listen to this mix go grab his debut release, Isolater EP on Alkalinear Recording for some spooky 2-step action.
