  • mmmm Tindersticks, Sex Pistols & Large Mound mmmmm ….. Nice Line-up. Enda

  • John

    thats brutal… brutal…

underworld are the only have decent name in that list of has beens..

  • wow. Borefest.

  • Tycho

I was slightly under the impression that EP knew how to organise a festival … apart from MBV there is no band that I would get in anyway excited about and even then I still wouldn’t pay 240.

  • Linda

is it true that there won’t be a foggy notions tent this year???

  • Not sure yet. I heard that rumour but no confirmation yet.

  • tycho,
i could never get excited by my bloody valentine and while i wouldn’t mind seeing a few of those acts in a more intimate setting, there is exceedingly little there that would make shell 240 quid in one go

  • Silver Apples
    Faust

sweet, and for a second there i thought is saw Neon Judgement on the list, but my eyes are seeing what i want them to see. No Trentemøller and bonnie prince billy (both on e.p. unofficial list earlier in the week) maybe in future announcement, heres hoping.

  • josh

Initially it looked good … nope, Foals and Christy are about the height of my excitement here … maybe Large Mound and NYPC

  • HHHmmmm, it’s the most un-picniccy line up i’ve seen.

  • Steven

it will probably get better though – they always add on better acts.
It couldn’t possibly get any worse.

  • Clockwork Rob

Nothing really making me want to go, except Conor Oberst- but I can’t really bring myself to cough up 240 blips for one must-see artist.

    damn shame!

It’s a perfect example of how rumors can ruin this kind of thing- no Postal Service, Portishead etc has really burst my bubble.

  • rayoayondayo

    yep rubbish line up
240 nites is a lot of dough
any way to get in for free/jobs going at it for a skanger like meself???

The thing about the irish is their always complaining, fuck the line up…we’ll never get a better festival in Ireland than electric picnic, it’s going be deadly even if rage against the machine n queens of stoneage etc aren’t there…sure you can go see all them in concert.
What about the comedy tents, the jazz music, all the water couches to flake on, all the sound people that just want to kick back n smoke a dubbie and have fun fun fun, you can dress up, go to the carnival, don’t forget all the nice food, the dj’s and then all the bands that you don’t know much about but end up lovin after you give them a chance.
I can’t wait, goina live it up to the full…it beats sitting in a shitty job hearin your boss say bla bla bla n don’t forget all the random people you can buzz with 🙂
You’d be able to enjoy it more if you all could be more positive n stop been so spoilt.
