Introducing: Hotel On Mars

Sounding like some mad-cap amalgamation of garage-rock and new-wave, Hotel On Mars are certainly a compelling new prospect. To be fair, the Dublin five-piece cite a fairly wide-base of influences – Phil Collins to Fugazi, Pearl Jam to John Denver and presumably everything in between. It’s unsurprising then that their latest single is as maniacal and rhythmic as you’ll get in such DIY fashion. Off-the-cuff, hypnotic in its pace and accompanied by a truly bizarre, but simple video, we think ‘Sentinel’ is probably the most appropriate introduction to Hotel On Mars we could have hoped for.

‘Sentinel’ is taken from HOM’s debut album Don’t Feel Like Daylight, which is out now.
