IMRO Showcase Tour 2010

Lending further proof to the opinion that the Irish music scene is healthier than ever, the call for entries for this year’s IMRO Showcase Tour triggered literally hundreds upon hundreds of responses. The line-up has now been selected and the following is a list of the bands who’ve made the cut and where they can be seen in action:

A ‘Best of Showcase’ event will be held on Saturday, May 1st in Dublin at The Academy. Door times for all shows is 8pm, with tickets and prices available from the venues.

Now in it’s 19th year, the IMRO Showcase is the longest running event of its kind in Ireland and has provided a springboard from numerous artists in recent times, including Fight Like Apes, Delorentos, O Emperor and John, Shelly and the Creatures. It provides an opportunity for bands to reach new audiences and for music lovers to sample the variety and creativity currently on offer from Irish acts.
