Who are you and where are you from?

Eoin Kenny, lead singer of The North Sea from Baldoyle.

Who are your favorite artists from home?

Love that new All Tvvins track, the new Buffalo Sunn track is cool and I’ve always  being a massive fan of Mmoths.

What’s it really like touring?

Pain in the b…… nah, it’s deadly craic, loads of hanging out with the lads in the band, then you get to play a gig to new heads and meet loads of new people.

What’s your favourite city/town/venue to play?

Dublin/Dingle/Whelans.

What’s your ideal festival line-up?

This years Electric Picnic line-up is special. Tame Impala and War on Drugs on one line up? Excellent, can’t wait.

What has been your biggest achievement of the year?

Releasing our debut album Anniversary, the launch party is next week the 26th of June in the Grand Social and were starting to receive the physical copies of the CD and Vinyl, a lot of work has gone into this so its s great feeling.

What was the worst piece of advice you were given?

hmmmm..that’s a good one…Dont do drugs? Only joking, kids, dont do drugs.

What do you do to relax?

Few pints with my mates or eating a fry on Saturday morning watching Euronews.

What are you reading?

The Honourable School Boy….big Le Carre fan.

How about TV, anything good on the box?

I was glued to that new Danish drama 1864, and the new C4 show Humans is interesting.

Do you have a favourite YouTube video?

Our new track, Decay’s vid (sorry).

What website do you visit most? 

Love Vice, really quirky articles, well written, from Isis to how to DJ at house parties.

Tame Impala.

Jamie xx.

What was the last great gig you have seen?

Interpol at the Olympia.

Worst show?

Hard for me to say but Stone Roses at Phoenix park. I love The Stone Roses, but those big reunion gigs are always weird.

What should we expect from your Irish shows?

Interesting things, don’t want to give too much away.. As for our launch party this Friday, we’ve been building up to this show for so long, we’re buzzing. And the reviews are class so far. We can’t wait to deliver.
