Special: Villagers, Fight Like Apes and more team up for charity Xmas single

In aid of homeless charity the Peter McVerry Trust, the Christmas Hearts project, spearheaded by Niall Jackson of Bouts, is aiming to raise awareness and money for the growing social issue that’s becoming an ever-increasing tragedy across Ireland.  ‘Christmas Is In Your Heart’, which features artists from Villagers, Fight Like Apes, Bouts, Spring Break, Land Lovers and So Cow, was written by Jackson as part of his campaign What Is Home, to raise awareness for homelessness.  The single is available now from Bandcamp, as well as iTunes and on CD, and 100 percent of the sales will go the Peter McVerry Trust, so dig deep folks.

You can also catch a live performance this coming Saturday at the Young Hearts Run Free Yule gig in Dublin 8, as well as attend the official single launch on Thursday, December 11th at Whelans.  Tickets are €10 from here and all proceeds will go the Peter McVerry Trust too.
