Promoters confirm Backstreet Boys The 02, Dublin show on November 13th will go ahead.
John Reynolds of Pod confirmed today that Backstreet Boys forthcoming concert at The O2, Dublin on November 13th will still go ahead despite news of Backstreet Boy Brian Littrell been diagnosed with swine flu earlier this week.
The band was forced to cancel a number of promotional appearances including some interviews for Irish press on learning of the news. The other 3 members, Nick Carter, Howie Dorough and AJ McLean have seen a doctor and are not showing any symptoms. As a preventative measure, the doctor has prescribed Tamiflu to the group and their touring party.
However the band are all certain to be back to full fitness for their early anticipated return to Ireland on Friday 13th November at The O2 where they will be performing some of their chart-topping hits like Quit Playing Games (with My Heart), As Long As You Love Me, Everybody (Backstreet’s Back) and All I Have To Give, as well as debuting new material from their seventh studio album This is Us which is out this week.
