Stand back! Super-dextrous turntablist and AV master DJ Yoda is once again pushing the entertainment envelope by taking his newest show to the biggest screen in town – the BFI IMAX in London! Fresh from AV shows through Asia, America and Brazil, the Stop Look & Listen shows will make you do just that.

No stranger to breaking new ground and consistently raising the bar in DJ entertainment, DJ Yoda’s multifaceted AV live shows are renowned for being an audio visual spectacle. Stepping up to his BFI IMAX debut with more than a few new tricks up his sleeves, audiences can expect to experience DJ Yoda’s latest AV expressions in their enormity as he welds B’More, Dubstep, Drum n Bass and Reggae rhythms to film/TV scenes and a whole new selection of the finest that YouTube has to offer. All thrown about with a large dash of his trademark tongue in cheek style, DJ Yoda’s artful armoury takes AV to the next level.

Recipient of numerous DJ accolades, Yoda has risen above his contemporaries, standing out with his distinct AV mixing techniques, inclusion of intelligent humour, innovative ideas and a true sense of how to get dancefloors not only ignited, but spellbound by his integrated and unique performance. As a recording artist in his own right he has been busy in the studio working on soon to be released ‘Yoda and Friends’ EP on Jam City Records, as a precursor to his next album. Tipped by Q Magazine as one of ‘The 10 DJs you must see before you die’ and voted alongside DJ Premier as ‘One of the Top Three DJs in the World’ in Hip-Hop Connection magazine, DJ Yoda represents a new brand of unmissable mix-mastery.

*”I can’t believe I get to perform my AV show at the IMAX! Honestly, if I could pick any venue in the world for my video show, this would be it. I’m using a new technical set-up for this year’s AV show, which is going to change the way it looks. 2010 is shaping up to be a seriously memorably year – I’ve already played all over Europe, Australia, Asia, North and South America – so the rest of the year I can concentrate on this new show for the UK – it’s gonna be wicked”. DJ Yoda has also been performing vigorously throughout the 2010 festival circuit, and you still have the chance to catch him at Green Man and Bestival before the summers out, warming you up for the Stop Look & Listen tour.
