Future’s Apart – Whelan’s, Dublin

The second release from the talented young outfit Futures Apart, “Perfection” is unleashed, as a taster from the forthcoming EP due for release in March.

With Neosupervital man Tim O Donovan at the helms the young band have spent months in the studio further developing their intensely energetic, at times positively frantic sound – an unorthodox fusion of dance and contemporary rock with a unique yet retro sound.

“The accompanying blurb notes that “Andrew’s Pride” ….. carries a distinctly familiar sound and, for once, the PR jargon’s right! New Order, Spandau Ballet and Duran Duran have all been here before and more recently, to a poppier extent, Hurts. ………………..utterly thrilling from start to finish” (Hot Press)

Futures Apart have been drawing crowds in college gigs round the country and were extremely well received at the 2010 HARD WORKING CLASS HEROES FESTIVAL. Tour and festival dates to follow.
