Sunday Feb 14th sees a folky/traddy line-up headed up by folk icon/national treasure/master musician Andy Irvine (Planxty/Patrick Street/Mozaik) and supported by a cast of inspired younger generation musicians such as experimental folk ensemble The Spook of the Thirteenth Lock, indie-folk poet laureate Mumblin’ Deaf Ro (full band), trad-kids The Hounds & underground pop recluse Big Monster Love.
Wed Feb 17th sees a line-up of nightsaver David Kitt, 2009 Choice Prize champ Jape (solo electronic), Box Social bad-boy Patrick Kelleher, drums & electronics duo Legion of Two & lonely-hearts pop-kid Goodtime John raising money for the Haiti crisis the best way they know how – playing wonderful music.
We’re collaborating with Concern on both shows. Tickets are €15 from www.tickets.ie or WAV box office [1890 200 078]. Both ticket agents will donate booking fees minus VISA charges to the fund as well. Massive thanks and respect to all parties.
