Heritage Centre – Academy 2, Dublin

Heritage Centre have announced a date at Dublin’s Academy 2 venue on Thursday 19 November. Tickets are on sale now priced €11 inclusive of booking fee.

Tipped as ones to watch in 2009, Heritage Centre have received both national and international airplay, and have successfully etched their name into the etch-a-sketch of up and coming Irish acts.

Their debut EP “The City, The Tree and The Fox” was released on the 20th of February to a sold out Whelans. Several runs of the EP in Tower Records have also sold out.

May 8th saw the band return to Whelans to release their single “I Will Protect You”. This song is taken from the bands second EP titled “Sidney Maxwell Williamson”. The EP was produced by Tom McFall (Weezer, Bloc Party, R.E.M.) and is set for release on the 13th November 2009. The release will be supported by a nationwide jaunt.

Always a band with a full back pocket – Heritage Centre have just finished recording their debut album in Canada with acclaimed producer David Newfeld (Broken Social Scene, Super Furry Animals, Los Campesinos). The album is set for release in 2010.
