For those of you heading to this weekend’s Longitude Festival, MCD have released stage maps and general need-to-know stuff to ensure an easy passage in and out of the site. Obviously, as I’m sure a certain country and western superstar will attest, all details are subject to change so keep an eye on State.ie, the festival website and MCD’s own website for any updates.
Gates open at 1.30pm and the first act will be on at 2pm.
Traffic delays are inevitable please allow plenty of additional travel time – MCD recommend at least an extra 2 hours.
No under-16 year olds will admitted unless accompanied by an adult over 18. ID will be required.
The provided shuttle bus is the most direct form of transport to the concert – as the drop off point is directly outside the venue. The shuttle bus service will operate for all concerts from Custom House Quay in the city centre direct to Marlay Park. Please note this is a return service only. You must book in advance with priority given to customers who have pre booked online.

Neither the festival nor the promoters will organise any private coaches and it is advised that persons travelling by private coach agree with the driver where to collect from after the concerts. There is no private-hire coach parking on-site and coaches will not be able to pick up from Grange Road or College Road car park after the event.
The closest Luas stations are Ballaly and Dundrum. It is approx. a 30minute walk to the concert site. For more details see the Luas website.
A taxi & pick up service will be facilitated on Stonemason’s Way, at the junction with Grange Rd to its junction with Barton Rd East. Please note this is the only designated pick-up point for this event.
Limited parking will be available at Marlay Park… it’s possibly best not to use this option unless you can guarantee parking elsewhere should the official site fills up. Traffic and parking delays are inevitable you are strongly advised to use public transport or carpool. Please plan your journey in advance and allow plenty of extra travel time to and from the venue.
Car Parks will open at 12.30 each day.
