This show tops off an amazing year for the band. September saw the release of The Scripts second album Science and Faith which stormed both the Irish and UK charts achieving platinum status in its first week of release. This was followed by record breaking ticket sales for their Irish March Arena and July Stadium live shows selling over 100,000 tickets to date.

‘This Olympia gig will give us the chance to give something back to all our fans out there who have supported us at the beginning and also give them a chance to help us do some good in the community at the same time. Ireland has been such a Champion of our music from the start, we wanted to close out the year there and give something back, so we are putting some tickets for the gig up for auction with the proceeds going to Temple Street Hospital and The Simon Community. We are honoured to be able to help in this way and look forward to what will be an amazing night in our home town.’ stated Danny, Mark & Glen

This intimate Script show will benefit two worthy charities – Dublin Simon Community and Temple Street Childrens Hospital.

Dublin Simon Community works to prevent and address homelessness in Dublin providing services at all stages of homelessness and enable people to move to a place they can call home. In addition to the traditional Soup Run, Dublin Simon provide many services which aim to help those who are sleeping rough on the streets, people who are in their own accommodation – and those who are at any of the stages in between.

Temple Street Childrens Hospital

Every year, Temple Street provides the highest standard of treatment and care to the 125,000 babies and children that come through our doors and at every step along the way Danny, Mark and Glen have been consistent, generous and inspiring in helping us achieve our aims.
