The Slits – Crawdaddy, Dublin

British punk chicks THE SLITS are back on tour following the release of their first LP for 28 years.
The 1970s pioneers of femme-punk reunited after a quarter century long hiatus, and finally released their third full length album ‘Trapped Animal’ last year.

Original members Ari Up and Tess Pollitt have teamed up with new recruits from the next generation of punk royalty for an album of patented SLITS punk, reggae, and dub grooves from the height of the punk era.

Look out for Hollie Cook – daughter of Sex Pistols drummer Paul Cook – on keys and vocals.

Tickets €16 available from Ticketmaster, City Discs, Road Records and usual outlets.
