Transmission, every Saturday in The Button Factory, is delighted to announce the up-coming dj set of one of the most exciting dj’s and producers in the world right now, Ed Banger’s Feadz.

Feadz is one of the first dj’s to combine hip hop breaks with electro synths and has influenced the sound of some of the biggest electronic acts in the world right now.

About Feadz
Feadz is a child of hip-hop. He started with scratch in the begining of the 90’s, and soon drew Paris undeground scene’s attention with his various mixtapes and collaborations, either rap or electronic.

His big break came when he met Mr Oizo and he worked on the production of his first LP, ‘Analog Worms Attack’, released on F-Communication in 1999 and toured the world supporting it. In 2001 he released his first solo EP ‘High-B’ on Ellen Allien’s Bpitch Control, followed by three more EPs during the next four years.

One day, he gave Pedro Winter a track he made with his girlfriend singing on it, a mixture of old school influences with electronic synths. The Uffie project was born.

He left B-Pitch Control and he started to produce tracks for Uffie with his friend Mr Oizo for Pedro Winter’s Ed Banger Records. They released ‘Hot Chick / In Charge’ in 2006, an amazing UFO both in electronic music and in hip hop landscapes. Then came the club hits ‘Pop The Glock’ and ‘Ready To Uff’ which sent the Uffie project on to dancefloors all over the world.

Between the Uffie adventure and his many remixes for artists such as Boys Noize, Krazy Baldhead, Justice, and Modeselektor, Feadz found the time to release ‘Happy Meal EP’ in 2008, followed by his track ‘Back It Up’, featuring Spank Rock. These finally gave Feadz recognition in his own right as the person behind Uffie’s beats.

Feadz has finished his production work on Uffie’s debut album which is out later this year, and he’s about to release his second EP (Out on July the 6th 2009) on Ed Banger Records, ‘P*N*M*B’: five exclusive tracks mixing in a perfect alchemy futuristic electro, touches of Techno and, of course, some groovy beats.
