The presence of some of America’s best dance and electronic DJs proved that South by South West is much more than an indie-rock snoozefest. Plenty of late night parties were kept rocking by the likes of Flosstradamus, Diplo and the Texas Niteclub late night parties out of town really represented two factions split into two labels. First you have IHeartComix crew which showcases mostly 4/4 dance and house with artists like Franki Chan, Thunderheist, Future Cop and Designer Drugs.
In the other hand, you’ve got Diplo’s more globally-conscious dance crew represented by Mad Decent and artists like Rye Rye, Blaqstarr, DJ Sega and countless others. It seems it’s a good time to be a DJ in the US again.
