Air and DJ Shadow for Trans Belfast

Air and DJ Shadow have been announced as the headliners for this year’s Trans Festival taking place in Belfast from 3rd to 24th of July.

Air will be taking to the stage at Belfast Waterfront on Thursday 8th July while DJ Shadow plays the Ulster Hall on Sunday 4th July, his first Belfast date in over 10 years.

On the back of the Waterfront`s creative industry Urban Arts Academy in the same period, Trans takes place every July in venues throughout the city-centre. Over the last five years trans has cemented its place as one of Belfast’s premier summer festivals. Last year’s acts included Simian Mobile Disco (DJ Set) and Massive Attack (DJ set) alongside up-and-coming musicians Telepathe, Micachu and the Shapes and FM Belfast.

The full line-up for Trans 2010 will be released at the end of May. Tickets for both Air (£22.50) and DJ Shadow (£20) went on sale Monday and are available online, from the Waterfront and Ulster Hall Box Offices and by calling 028 9033 4455.
