Architecture in Helsinki reinterpret Cut Copy

Melbourne quirk-pop collective Architecture in Helsinki are working on three reinterpretations of tracks from their Aussie mates Cut Copy‘s Zonoscope LP.

The first up is ‘Need You Now’ and some how by bringing down the tempo, stripping back the synths and playing up the deep croon in Dan Whitford’s vocal the song has been transformed from electro-bop to something of a True Stories-era Talking Heads classic. In short it’s genius.

Architecture in Helsinki play The Button Factory, Dublin on Friday April 15th. Tickets are priced at €20, on sale now on Ticketmaster.
