Belfast Underground Records launches radio station

Launching this September 12th from their record shop base in Belfast’s Queen Street, Belfast Underground Radio will be a live broadcast, internet radio station running from 10am to 10pm daily. Featuring a host of renowned DJs from the city and beyond, the organisers have said that “Belfast Underground Radio will go out LIVE via internet streaming to the world through a five camera high definition video feed. The station shall build to broadcast live, 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, from inside the record store. A glass fronted station room is currently being designed specifically for the station and will fit perfectly into a corner of the long store. This also offers the music loving public the unique opportunity to catch a direct glimpse of DJs at work. Almost 50 of Northern Ireland’s current biggest club DJ names have already confirmed monthly shows and we shall also be working closely with our many DJ and club friends in Southern Ireland.”

Expect a range of genres from techno to funk & soul, indie to hip hop and much more. Don’t forget to call in on the 12th of September to join in with the festivities.
