Brendan Benson announces Irish tour

Brendan Benson (recently of The Raconteurs) has announced 15 dates around Ireland this fall. With keyboardist Mark Watrous, Benson will be playing acoustic shows Down, Dundalk, Cavan, Belfast, Derry, Galway, Tipperary, Limerick, Kerry, Cork, Kilkenny, Offaly, Dublin and Mullingar. He will be playing mostly hits from 1996’s One Mississippi, 2002 Lapalco, 2005’s The Alternative to Love and his newest record My Old, Familiar Friend.

Saturday 25 September – INEC, Killarney, Kerry.
Tuesday 28 September – Cyprus Ave, Cork.
Wednesday 29 September – Pegasus, Kilford Hotel, Kilkenny.
Thursday 30 September – Thatch Rahan, Tullamore.
Friday 1 October – Whelan’s Dublin.
Saturday 2 October – The Stables, Mullingar.
