Brighton & Bristol Institute of Modern Music open Dublin college

Some good news for those Irish looking at studying music in the near future, BIMM (Brighton & Bristol Institute of Modern Music) has announced the establishment of a Dublin college in a partnership with Dublin Institute of Technology.

Opening in September, BIMM will offer a 4 year BA (Hons) degree course which will be run by musicians for up to 500 students who will have the opportunity to study guitar, bass, drums, vocals, songwriting and music business studies from a new state of the art purpose built facility in Dublin City Centre.

As part of the course, students will receive tutorials from the likes of Cathy Davey, Graham Hopkins, Colm Quearney and more. The degree also aims to look at artist management, live music production, publishing and performance.
