Ireland get ready to rock. Bruce is still at the top of his game.
I just saw his Chicago concert and it was one of the best Springsteen concerts I’ve seen in the last 25 years. You’ll probably see Max Weinberg’s son as the drummer as he has been splitting the shows with his dad. Max is the drummer for talk show host Conan O’Brien, who is scheduled to take over for Jay Leno on the Tonight Show in June.

Start thinking of great rock songs for Bruce to perform as he has a segment in the show where he picks out posters from the card containing the names of songs–not necessarily his songs either. The other night he played “Mony Mony”–the first time the band had ever performed it and it rocked. Bruce’s theory is that a good rock band can play anything. So far on the tour he has played “Good Lovin'”, “You Really Got Me”, “Mountain of Love”, “Expressway to Your Heart” “Louie, Louie”, “Hang on, Sloppy”, and “London Calling”.
So start thinking of some old time rockers–“Brown Eyed Girl”, “The Boys are Back in Town” would be cool–to see if Bruce will play
    them.
