Community Of Independents: a new music television series is looking for bands

Dublin Community Television in partnership with First Music Contact are making a television series exploring the independent music in Ireland. Investigating the lives and activities of labels, bands, collectives, promoters, bloggers and punters, the series aims to document the intricacies and involvement each has in local community into short films called 6 Minutes Of Independents.

The project is looking for bands and artists to get involved, “to tell your story on how you operate as musicians now that the music industry has changed, the role you fulfill in the distribution of your music and your relationship with labels and promoters.”
