D.A.R.K. to play Whelan’s

An unlikely collaboration between Cranberries singer Dolores O’Riordan, legendary Smiths bassist Andy Rourke, and New York DJ Olé Koretsky, D.A.R.K. have announced a first ever show at Whelan’s for Monday, May 16. The band’s roots lie in a New York DJ-mixing collaboration formed between Andy and Olé, after they met gigging in Washington DC, before a chance meeting with Dolores resulted in her being added to the bill. It’s sure to be an interesting first meeting with the trio, who will play material from their debut album SCIENCE AGREES which comes out on May 27th.

Tickets for the D.A.R.K. gig at Whelan’s are currently on sale here for the price of €23. Meanwhile, here’s a first listen to the group’s new single ‘Curvy’.
