We recently reported that David Holmes would be heading up the latest in the ever-essential Late Night Tales series, and it has now been confirmed that the launch party for the compilation will take place in Belfast’s Maple Leaf Social Club. A once vibrant city night spot and social hub, the building has somewhat fallen in to disrepair, although occasionally still sees its cult-status revitalised in the form of after hours parties.
As well as a DJ set from Holmes, there will be special live performances from some of the artists who appear on the album including Barry Woolnough, Alain Maclean, BP Fallon, Documenta, and Stephen Hackett will be providing inspired films & visuals on a 360 degree film projector.
The launch event will take place on October 15th, and you can get tickets from 12 noon tomorrow, right here, priced at £10. Each ticket holder (limited to 200) will receive a limited edition copy of Holmes’ Late Night Tales compilation – all tracks selected have never seen the light of day.
