Death In Vegas’ new album to feature Austra singer

Richard Fearless is aiming to return Death In Vegas with the band’s first album in seven years Trans Love Energies, due for UK release on September 12th on Drone Records.

Fearless is currently mixing the album in Michigan following the recording of the album in Shoreditch in London. Trans Love Energies is “a reference to the 1960’s Detroit anti-establishment group” and will feature Fearless as the lead vocalist on most of the tracks. Austra’s Katie Stelmanis’ features on two of the songs on the album.

In the time between 2004’s Satan’s Circus and now, Fearless spent time in Brooklyn studying film and photography, where he set up the band Black Acid before returning to the UK for production with Dark Horses, Von Haze and remixes of Pains Of Being Pure At Heart, Hurts, The Kills and The Horrors.

Expect live dates in the Autumn.
