Dj Mehdi and Busy P added to Kraftwerk bill

State witnessed Mehdi play one of the best DJ sets we’ve ever seen last year so we’re pleased to tell you that both DJ Mehdi and Busy P have been announced as special guests to Kraftwerk
at A Day In The Life in Luggala, Co. Wicklow Saturday on 13th September. They join Soulwax, Boxcutter, The Jimmy Cake, Comtron, Dark Room Notes and of course, Kraftwerk at theonce-off event. There will be a capacity of 4,999 with bus-only transport or park and ride facilities from Leopardstown racecourse offered. Ticket prices come to €89.50 each.

A French Hip Hop child prodigy since the age of 13, DJ Mehdi has won recognition as an eclectic producer, melting his Hip Hop roots to electronic, soul or pop. This year Dj Mehdi’s career has truly gone one step beyond and he’s travelled the world several times over. His tune ‘Signatune’, edited by Thomas Bangalter (Daft Punk) has become a worldwide club hit. He has also found time to remix the likes of Just Jack, New Young Pony Club, Ghostface Killah, Architecture In Helsinki, CSS and Joss Stone.

Busy P is a veritable worldwide underground superstar. Founder of the renowned ED BANGER RECORD label in Paris, Busy P has worked as Daft Punk’s manager for 12 years and has been a non-stop activist of dance music & underground urban culture. Busy P has been living up to his name this year touring the world and supporting Justice on their US tour. He has also managed to squeeze in a DJ residency at We Love / Ibiza this summer 2008.
