Electric Picnic announce The xx, A Tribe Called Quest, Interpol, Run The Jewels & more

If you managed to get an Electric Picnic ticket before they all sold out savagely quickly, you may be in for a treat when descending on Stradbally this September 1-3. Confirmed so far are headliners The xx (Friday), A Tribe Called Quest (Saturday), and Duran Duran (Sunday), with a veritable feast of other big names taking top spots across the three days. Announced this morning, you can expect to take in Pete Tong performing Ibiza Classics with the 60-piece Heritage Orchestra Chaka Khan, Interpol, Run The Jewels, London Grammar, Madness, Father John Misty, Soulwax, The Pretenders, The Divine Comedy, Band Of Horses, Michael Kiwanuka, Mano Le Tough, Floating Points (solo live), Vince Staples, Young Fathers, Perfume Genius, POND, Car Seat Headrest, Japandroids, Parquet Courts, Real Estate, and a good few more.

We’re yet to find out who’ll be playing across the satellite stages, but all in good time. For now, best to avoid the likes of Seatwave, etc. as tickets will undoubtedly go for extortionate prices. Fingers crossed those without will be able to source passes for a fair price.
