Electric Picnic have announced the return of their much loved Trailer Park for the upcoming 2016 festival. The proclaimed “dystopian mobiletropolis” is the perfect place to relax and hang out between trips to the main stages with plenty of interesting stalls and chill-out areas. Of course there’s also the popular Mobile Home Stage which will feature a number of interesting new acts performing over the weekend including CC Brez, Cirque du Sol, Mutefish, and the Dublin Ukulele Collective. Another fan favourite is the Father Ted endorsed ‘Rubbish Song for Europe’, in which musicians Neil Hannon and Cathy Davey will complete their search for a replacement for the iconic ‘My Lovely Horse’. Other highlights include Jimmie Lee’s Juke Joint – an authentic Hillbilly experience – and the oddball spectacle that is Caravan World. For an interesting, off-the-wall experience for festival-goers, Trailer Park 2016 is certainly worth a visit!
