Dorothy Cotter has been making audiences smile and laugh with her EleventyFour project for a few years now. She’s had a few singles and videos of the quirky variety here and there but her new single ‘Snapshots’ which is out on August 10th is a different thing altogether.
Dispensing with the comedic whimisical style she’s known for, Cotter’s ‘Snapshots’ is a more reflective indie-pop tune (“The Sundays meets The Smiths”) and gets launched at The Grand Social in Dublin on August 9th with a band made up of Rollerskate Skinny, The Dead Flags, Fred and Big Monster Love. Support on the night comes from Robotnik and Mrs Healy’s First Class Choir. A Cork date happens in Gulpd the next night.
