Erasure reveal new album, share new single ‘Love You To The Sky’

Following on from 2014’s The Violet Flame, as well as the band’s recent 30th anniversary celebrations, Erasure are back with details of a brand new album. World Be Gone, which sees its release via Mute on the 19th of May, sees the award-winning songwriters in a “more reflective mood, giving the world and recent political upheavals a thoughtful examination.”

Vince Clarke has said about the new LP, “Obviously the current political climate lends itself to lots of ideas”, Andy Bell continues, “I think there’s an underswell of opinion, and people are slowly waking up. I’m hoping that people will take the album in a positive way, that they’ll use it as optimistic rabble-rousing music.”

Ahead of the release of the record, listen to new single ‘Love You To The Sky’, below. Erasure play Dublin on the 17th of June in support of Robbie Williams.
