Festival of World Cultures moves to July

The 10th anniversary of The Festival of World Cultures takes place from July 23-25 in Dún Laoghaire this year with appearances by Trinidadian legend Calypso Rose (pictured), Mali’s Rokia Traoré, both of which will be performing free outdoor concerts in the festival’s usual Newtownsmith Green beside the sea.

Other artists announced are award-winning composer Pól Brennan, Chinese flautist Guo Yue, kenyan nyantiti player Ayub Ogada and folk singer Tara Byrne.

The full festival line-up will be revealed on June 17th.
