Five Lamps Arts Festival

The Five Lamps Arts Festival returns for a third year to shine a light on the arts in Dublin’s inner city. The Festival, which is an initiative of Marino College of Further Education, will take place from the 22nd of April until the 1st of May this year.

This is the third year of the festival. It is based in venues and public spaces that surround the famous Five Lamps landmark, including the Liberty Hall Theatre, Eden Quay; the Sean O’Casey Theatre, East Wall; D-Lights Studios, North Great Clarence Street; Charleville Mall Library, North Strand and Connolly House, North Strand.

“Bringing together local, national and international artists, musician, singers and dramatists, the Festival is a 10 day long celebration of eclectic music, new art, high drama, song, dance and community participation. Supported by Dublin City Council’s Arts Office and City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee (CDVEC), the Festival is run by volunteers eager to promote the arts in the Five Lamps area of the city and create a cultural event that embraces and encourages the development of local talent.”
