Folk Hero Shay Cotter Heading For The Mercantile

The indomitable Shay Cotter will be appearing at Dublin’s Mercantile on April 4th with support coming from The Savage Jim Breen. For lovers of Irish folk-blues and those well versed in Cotter’s ability to weave yarns this is a night not to be missed.

Cotter has graced the works of The Gypsy Kings, David Gray, Jakob Dylan, The Doobie Brothers, Christy Moore, Lloyd Cole and Tracy Chapman as well as a host of Irish contemporaries such as Damien Dempsey, Paddy Casey and Damien Rice. His ability to play out musical stories as if he’s letting the listener in on a secret is custom made for the intimacy of the Mercantile so if you fancy seeing a true legend at work make sure you’re there. Admittance is only €8 at the door.
