Foy Vance signs to Ed Sheeran’s Gingerbread Man Records

That ripple in the force? That’s the preemptive murmurings of Foy Vance‘s career about to go HUGE. Or, at least that’s what we hope for the NI singer-songwriter. A talented fellow, Vance has been a stalwart of the Irish and UK music scene for over a decade now, and has had some success further afield, but we can’t help but think now that Ed has Foy’s back, the Bangor crooner could well be on his way to global stardom.

The pair aren’t strangers either, with Foy collaborating with Ed and vice versa on the pair’s most recent albums. Speaking of the new situation, Foy says “I feel a deep sense of peace signing to an artist led label, not least of all because the artist in question is our Ed…Every time I’ve turned around in the last few years he has had my back.”

We can expect Foy’s first release for the label to be an album, which is forecasted as coming out in Spring 2016. For now though…
