Frightened Rabbit announce new album; share new single

Brooding Scottish indie-rockers Frightened Rabbit have just announced details of their eagerly awaited fifth album Painting of A Panic Attack. Due for release next Friday, April 8th on Atlantic Records, the album is the band’s first since the departure of Gordon Skene, and was produced by The National’s Aaron Dressner at the very the same Brooklyn studio that High Violet was recorded in.  It’s already been said that the new record’s electronic elements, together with front man Grant Hutchison’s dark and emotionally honest lyrics, are expertly woven into the band’s soaring sonic palate, resulting in a body of work that will challenge, excite and surprise longtime fans and new listeners alike.

Here’s a first listen to ‘Get Out’, the latest single off the new album as performed by Frightened Rabbit on the Steve Colbert show in the US this week.
