Irish metallers Gama Bomb recently supported reunited thrash legends Lawnmower Deth at a special warm-up show in Milton Keynes, with the latter preparing for their appearance at the Download festival in the UK, and Gama Bomb themselves preparing for their Summer appearances at Hellfest in France, and Tuska Open Air in Finland.
According to Gama Bomb frontman Philly Byrne, “playing with Lawnmower Deth was a bizarre but really fun experience. It was like a normal metal gig had been injected with silly sauce. When you play to those old-school crowds they don’t need to get to know you; they just accept you immediately. It was class.”
