I went to the tribute to jimmy faulkner nite in the Olympia and i must say it was the best nite of music ive ever been to.
I just happen to hear about it on the ronan collings radio show where he mentioned that Gary Moore was playin at it..well once i heard that that was it..What a fantastic nite of truly excellent music played by excellent musicians.
The Olympia held host to the finest blues musicians an a cross section of virtuoso performers an artists that ive ever seen in one place!!
The nite was rounded off by guitar rock an blues virtuoso an one of my biggest heros Gary Moore..i thought to myself..lookin on in awe..if his fingers go any faster he,ll run out of fretboard..wat a genuis of the highest calibre!!
What a nite it was an one i certainly wont forget in a hurry..4 hrs of high actane music..pure bliss…pure magic..pure blues…pure music..
