Next week sees our annual State Midnight Mass Christmas gig, a free show in the Mercantile that brings together some of our favourite Irish acts and raises funds for a good cause in the process. This year we’ll be welcoming not only Skelocrats, The Notas, Deaf Joe and Jennifer Evans but also Ghost Estates, rounding off twelve months that has seen them release their debut album to great acclaim.
Our chosen charity this year is Pieta House, the first centre in Ireland to specialise in the prevention of self-harm and suicide. Our partners in the gig are the Delphi label, who released a benefit album Life Support earlier this year in aid of the charity and will be selling copies on the night.
We hope to see you there on 20th, with it all kicking off at 9pm and running to the small hours with State DJs. Get Facebooking here.
