Gig announcement roundup: British Sea Power, The Naked & Famous, Matmos, John Grant, Hercules & Love Affair & more

British Sea Power play The Academy, Dublin on Thursday 17th February. Tickets are €20 plus fees. Their new album Valhalla Dancehall is out now.

Critics favourite John Grant plays The Button Factory on Tuesday May 3rd. It’ll be an unreserved seated gig and tickets are on sale this Friday at 9am priced €19.50 plus fees from www.tickets.ie , City Discs & Ticketmaster outlets nationwide. More info.

Electronic experimentalists with a penchant for making music from everyday objects, Matmos returns to the same venue the next week for a show on Wednesday May 18th. Tickets are also €20 plus fees on sale now. More info.

Hercules And Love Affair will spend Paddy’s Day in Dublin on March 17th with a show in The Button Factory also. The new lineup will release their second album Blue Songs at the end of this month and the album includes a guest vocal from Kele Orekeke. Tickets €22.50 plus fees. More info.

Sunderland and Newcastle’s Little Comets play The Academy 2 on Friday 4th of March. Tickets are €12 plus fees. The band will release their debut album In Search of Elusive Little Comets at the end of the month.

Hotly-tipped New Zealand band The Naked & Famous will play Crawdaddy, Dublin on Saturday March 5th as part of their European tour. Tickets on sale now priced at €14 plus fees. More info.
