Gig announcement roundup: Cut Chemist, Solar Bears, Tori Amos, De La Soul, Hypnotic Brass & more

  • After the announcement that they will play the Galway Arts Festival, De La Soul and Hypnotic Brass Ensemble play Button Factory, Dublin on Friday 22nd July. Tickets €30 plus fees.
  • Solar Bears, Young Montana and Andrew Hung of Fuck Buttons will play Button Factory for free on Saturday May 28th.
  • ChoiceCuts present awesome DJ Cut Chemist plus DJ Tu-ki on Friday July 15th in Button Factory, Dublin. Doors 11pm – 3am. Admission €20 plus fees.
  • Japanese all-girl trio Shonen Knife who will be on a 30th anniversary tour, hit Whelan’s, Dublin on Friday 19th August. Tickets are €14 plus fees.
  • Tori Amos plays The Grand Canal Theatre on Wednesday 9th November. Tickets priced from €39.20 plus fees are on sale Thursday 12th May.
  • Ghostpoet will be joined by DJ Mek as support for a show in The Pavilion Cork on Saturday 4 June kicking off at 10pm. Tickets are €12 plus fees.
  • Also on the June bank holiday, legendary DJ Norman Jay and Richie B play The Village, Dublin on Sunday 5th June. It’s a late gig with doors at 11pm and tickets at €12.50 plus fees.
  • Liam Finn has announced some Irish dates this summer. His new album Fomo will be released on July 4th. Here is how his schedule looks for Europe:
