Gig announcement roundup: The Hold Steady, Feeder, Gruff Rhys, Micah P Hinson, Goldfrapp & more

  • The Hold Steady will play The Academy on February 10th in Dublin. Tickets are €27.50 plus fees on sale this Thursday.
  • Feeder will also play The Academy on Saturday 5th February 2011. Tickets are €31.50 plus fees on sale this Friday.
  • NoDisko presents “digital electro trash duo” You Love Her Coz She`s Dead’s debut live Irish show at The Grand Social on Friday November 5th in Dublin. Doors are at 10pm and tickets are €8 with NoDisko DJs til 2.30am.
  • As part of Darklight, Synth Eastwood presents Gruff Rhys & the Irish Premiere of his documentary Separado! followed by a Q&A with Gruff and director Dylan Jones on Saturday 30th of October in the IFI.
  • On the same night the Darklight Halloween Fancy dress party takes place with DJ sets from Gruff Rhys, Andy Votel, Darklight DJs, B-Music DJs & Synth Eastwood (Live Audio/Visual Set) at The Grand Social. Tickets are €12 from, City Discs and Sound Cellar. The theme is “horror movie”.
  • Micah P Hinson returns to Dublin to play Crawdaddy on November 4th with support from Serafina Steer. Tickets are €15 plus fees.
  • Goldfrapp have added extra date at the Olympia Theatre on Saturday 27 November after the previous night sold out. Tickets are €41.70 (plus booking fee).
  • In Sin É and The Dice Bar pubs over this weekend, the Redline Festival of bluegrass, rock ‘n’ roll, garage and rockabilly takes place with performances by NC Lawlor, The Cujo Family, Candy and the Creeps, The Wayward Sinners, The Bonnevilles, T-Bone Kelly, Cheap Freaks, Well Enough Alone, The Mosquitoes, The Doo Wrongs and The Vagabonds.
