As ever post the festival season, there’s plenty of gig news about this week:
Gruff Rhys plays The Pepper Canister Church in Dublin on December 16th, with support from Martin Carr of the Boo Radleys. Tickets priced €23 inclusive of booking fee go on sale tomorrow at 9am.
Kormac and his Big Band launch his Doorsteps album at the Button Factory on October 11th. The record, featuring collaborations with Speech Debelle, Irvine Welsh, and Micah P Hinson, is released on Bodytonic on 13th.
Previous State Faces Slow Skies support their new Keepsake EP with a Sugar Club headliner on October 8th.
The Blades – one of our Too Good To Be Forgotten acts recently – play a one off date at the Olympia on 5th December.
Pogues founding member Cáit ‘Rocky’ O’Riordan debuts her new band at an afternoon show at the Stags Head on October 12th. Doors are at 4pm and tickets are €10.
