Guinness celebrating 250th anniversary with some big acts

Guinness are planning huge celebrations for Arthurs Day to celebrate the 250th anniversary of signing the lease on St. James’ St Gate Brewery. The celebrations will take in an event around the 24th of September for 2,000 special guests at the Guinness Storehouse, gigs in venues like The Academy. Tripod and Vicar Street and gigs in 28 Dublin pubs.

So far artists confirmed to play in the WORLDWIDE celebrations taking in cities like New York, Lagos, Yaoundé and Kuala Lumpur as well as Dublin include Black Eyed Peas, David Holmes, Estelle, Kasabian, The Wombats and The Enemy, Soul II Soul and The Undertones, Reverend & the Makers, Johnny Flynn, Noah & the Whale. We hope there are some Irish names to be announced there soon.
