Halfset, 202s and Holy Roman Army album packs

Three of our favourite Irish bands are playing a free Electric Picnic warm up show in Crawdaddy this Wednesday and to celebrate we have five triple packs of their albums to give away. Released last year, Halfset’s Another Way Of Being There was widely acclaimed as one of 2008’s best domestic releases, electronic or otherwise. The 202s emerged from two years in the studio this Spring with their self titled debut, a record that combined subtle electrionica with raucous, anthemic indie guitar music. Read our interview with them here. Last, but certainly not least, come the Holy Roman Army – based around the brother / sister duo of Chris and Laura Coffey but having expanded as a live unit to really do justice to their excellent How The Light Gets In album (State review here).

To win a copy of all three just email your name and number to giveaway@state.ie by midday on Wednesday. Please note you must be able to go to the gig to collect your swag but that really isn’t too much of a hardship is it?
