Ham Sandwich vinyl release, Academy support and club night

Enjoying a quiet start to the year after a fine 2011, Ham Sandwich ease back into action with a special vinyl and digital release of their superb White Fox album. The physical, black plastic version will be available from February 14th and will be available from the band’s website as well as selected record stores. Two weeks later they release a new digital version featuring four live session tracks, including their version of Kate Bush’s ‘Running Up That Hill’.

The band play a headline show at the Academy in Dublin on Saturday February 18th and have just announced State favourites little xs for eyes as support. And if that wasn’t enough, a brand new associated club launches tonight Upstairs at Whelans. Put together by HS drummer Ollie, the monthly Thurdaze indie club will kick of with live sets from Sanzkrit and Toy Soldier, plus DJ duties from singer Niamh Farrell.
